Spelman College – The Epicenter of Black Female Intelligentsia

Colour of Music, Inc., is proud to announce its debut in the forward-thinking City of Atlanta at the historical Spelman College.

Cultivating some of the brightness minds – the nucleus of its mission as a historically Black college is to be a global leader in the education of women of African descent.

The College is dedicated to academic excellence in the liberal arts and sciences and the intellectual, creative, ethical, and leadership development of the women who walk its historic halls.

Therefore, it is only fitting that talented women give a command performance at the memorable Sisters Chapel.

International talent, violinist and conductor, Anyango Yarbo-Davenport, will be presented in recital by the Colour of Music Festival as part of its 2018 Atlanta Chamber Music Series.

The evening will include appearances by Spelman Alumni and Organist, Joyce Finch Johnson and Soprano and voice professor, Laura English Robinson.

The performance takes place Thursday March 29 at 7pm.

Thanks to the generous sponsorship of The Links, Inc., Buckhead/Cascade Georgia Chapter the performance is FREE – general admission; do come early as seating is on a first come first served basis.
