The Colour of Music Festival congratulates Stuart and Kadie Kanneh-Mason for creating an environment for their seven children to thrive and do the extraordinary.
Following their son Sheku’s exceptional performance at Prince Harry and Megan Markle’s wedding at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on May 19, the world has been captivated.
The Kanneh-Mason’s first came to the attention of the public in Britain’s Got Talent in 2015 and made it all the way to the semi-finals. Simon Cowell said they were, “probably the most talented family in the world!”
But…Did you know that The Kanneh-Mason Trio, Sheku, 19, (cello), Isata, 21, (piano) and Braimah, 20, (violin) made their debut at the Colour of Music Black Classical Musicians Festival in Charleston, South Carolina in 2016?
As the Trio continues to perform together and with their siblings: Konya, 17, (piano and violin), Jeneba, 15, (piano and cello), Aminata, 12, (violin and piano) and Mariatu, 8, (cello and piano), we watch in anticipation that they will join us in Charleston again for The Colour of Music Festival.
